Deepening Democracy: A Strategy for Improving the Integrity of Elections Worldwide

This is the newest publication of IDEA Institute, organised by Kofi Annan, chair of the global commission. The best thing is its digital version, totally for free and full text. (versions in English, and soon in Arabic, French, Spanish, and others).

The Commission warns that all countries, including mature democracies, are struggling to show the benefits of elections and democracy to their citizens. The Commission warns that the rise of uncontrolled political finance threatens to hollow out democracy everywhere and rob democracy of its unique strengths. That's why, in my point of view, this publication should be known. This warning reflects a real fact. and we, as academics, should pay attention for it.
